This is some 8 hours after the super moon, and about an hour after it had risen over Indian Island. I shirked my dog-walking duties for the night (thank you, BlueHeronDruid!), and took a whole bunch of remarkably bad photographs. Just before turning off the camera, I remembered the suggestion my Photoshop Elements instructor, Ed Jaramillo, made: “Try the automatic fix. It might do what you want, and it’s easy enough to undo if not.” So I switched over to “intelligent auto” and took this shot, which turned out to be the best of the bunch. Not great, but pretty cool.
This image has been cropped, sharpened, contrasted, warmified, injected, dejected, rejected, and generally had the whack beat out of it.
