I’m impressed that the camera captured this. It’s shot at an effective 800mm zoom, hand held, through a clear spot in the clouds, a little after 2pm.
Here it is enlarged, with some contrast and lighting adjustments to pull out the edges of the craters. I left the noise in; otherwise there was too much detail lost. And speaking of detail: some things that look like craters are actually noise. Still, it’s nice to carry a “telescope” on my shoulder!
