Sipapu is one of the three bridges in the Natural Bridges National Monument (the others are Kachina and Owachomo). In the Hopi language, sipapu is “place of emergence” (national monument sign) or “a symbolic portal from which the first human ancestors emerged” (Wikipedia).
In the southern hemisphere, Sipapu is the name of a spiritual sanctuary being built near La Torre on the Rio Tambopata.
