on the bones of our ancestors

on the bones of our ancestors

Billy wasn’t too sure he should be climbing Kill All Hill, and that damn billy goat was starting to bug him. But Judy-Beth was watching, and she liked mountain climbers…

So. Here he was. Clamped tight to the side of a vertical wall, just short of the top. He would make it, no worry, but then what? Sure, Judy-Beth would be extra attentive – for a while – but then what? BASE jumping from the top of the damn hill? Running Pamplona?

Billy was gonna have to think about this.
